PokitDok was born in response to founder Lisa Maki's difficulties finding a non-surgical treatment for a spinal injury she discovered while studying karate. Maki and co-founder, Ted Tanner, wanted to allow consumers to see all their options and shop directly from health providers through a transparent, e-commerce experience.
