David is a writer and consultant based in Boston, Massachusetts. His work focuses on helping people and organizations create business breakthroughs. He draws on experience in innovation, future scanning, the

creative arts, executive education, and process facilitation.

Before establishing his business in 2003, he was part of the leadership team at the Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Center for Business Innovation. He created and led the CBI Network, a community of innovators and thought leaders in fifteen countries around the world. He designed and facilitated the CBI's "raves," one-day events bringing together experts from diverse fields to explore emerging topics like the user experience and non-algorithmic software. His work with clients such as Johnson & Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline used the scan/focus/act methodologies developed by Matt and Gail Taylor.
